This site is dedicated to the Hardy family of Canada.
Many people have contacted me to see if their family and mine are connected. If your family came through Canada, and you are looking for the ancestors of George, Jean Baptiste or Louis Lardie from Milton, Ontario, Canada ca. 1850, then you are in the right place.
Please feel free to browse through this site. If you have questions then e-mail me. If you think you connect to these people, but aren't sure, I can probably put you in contact with someone researching that particular line.
If you have old pictures that you are willing to have viewed on this site please send them to me.
The work contained on the following pages is the work of Peggy Large. It may be viewed or copied for your own use. My documents and research are not to be submitted to any genealogical database or Church. I reserve the right to submit or publish the work I've done.
If this is not agreeable to you then proceed no farther.

All the work from Francois Hardy (grandfather of the Hardy boys) is my research. This has been done with care and can be relied on. The Hardy Boys page gives a detailed lineage. This material is not to be entered on or submitted to any database.

So Let It Be Written is merely pages given to me. Read and enjoy. They are fun if nothing else.
This project has been a labour of love. I hope you enjoy the results. You will notice that my work starts in the 1850s and goes back. You won't find your living relatives here. If you have reached the point that you are confident your family links here you have already completed that much of the work.
